Responses to this ... The purpose of this Sources Sought Synopsis is to assist in our decision-making process for a service procurement. This is not a solicitation, nor a request for quotes or proposals. Responses to this sources sought synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award of a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21, is conducting market research to identify potential vendors with economic status of Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Veteran-Owned, and other Small Businesses that can provide Mobile CT Rental services per the general requirements below. Any inquiries are to be made in writing by email to the point of contact, Austin Mitts, Contracting Specialist. Responses to this notice shall be sent by email to austin.mitts@va.gov by the due date and time of 09/18/2023 by 12:00 p.m. (Pacific Time). This is for a Base Year Plus One Option Year contract. Background/Introduction: The Contractor shall provide a mobile actively shielded 16 slice CT Scanner at the Community Based Outpatient Clinic, Eureka, CA. This will include the transportation, set up/removal, and inspection/certification by a health physicist. The date of continuation of service will be from January 1, 2024 through December 31, 2024 plus one option year. The scanner will include supporting equipment to provide the doctors and radiologists a like system which will provide the same level of care our patients are presently receiving. Services shall be provided for the San Francisco VA Health Care System at the Eureka CBOC, in Eureka, CA. All services shall be provided in accordance with the specifications, terms and conditions contained herein. Please see attachments for more information.
