THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUCEMENT ONLY. No Solicitation is currently available. All information contained in this Sources Sought Announcement is preliminary, as well as subject to modification, and is in no way binding on the Government. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this request. The information requested will be used solely within the Department of Veterans Affairs to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside of the Government. The determination of a procurement strategy, based upon the comments submitted in response to this Sources Sought Announcement, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238210, Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors, size standard is $19M. Potential Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for an award (See Internet Site https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/). Potential Offerors must also have a current Online Representations and Certification Application on file with SAM. Description of Services This work involves providing preventative maintenance and repair support for the Audio-Visual equipment located in the Tahoe Room at the VA Medical Center, 975 Kirman Ave., Reno, NV 89523 during the period from Oct 1, 2023 through Sep 30, 2024. Services The contractor shall provide the following services: Priority response and resolution status over non-agreement holders Unlimited telephone technical support 4 business hour phone response time when support is needed (Monday - Friday, 8:30 am 5:00 pm) 16 business hour on-site response time. Up to 4 Service calls per year Facilitation of all manufacturers warranties Four preventative maintenance visits on site per year Monitor projector lamp hours Clean projectors and displays Test all equipment functionality Clean and inspect equipment Calibrate equipment, if requested Test floor box connections The following items/services are excluded from this work: Strikes, riots, floods, electrical/power failure and/or surges, loss of communication and or other signal transmission lines, forces of nature or any other event beyond the control of the contractor End-user operating error or damage to the equipment by any means (moving, dropping & breaking, failure to store in proper conditions, etc.) Equipment repairs beyond manufacturers warranties Equipment replacement Extension of product warranties Responses: The Government requests that interested parties provide the following capability information to the Contract Specialist, Jill Williams by e-mail at: jill.williams@va.gov by 11:00 PST July 14, 2023: (a)Â Business Size (Large/Small) (b)Â Business Socio-Economic Status (SDVOSB, WOSB, 8(a), HUBZone, etc.) (c) SAM record (d)Â DUNS number (e) Ability and experience with similar projects. (f) List of projects similar in scope. The Government will use this information when determining its business type decision.
