The Department of Veteran Affairs Pacific Health Care System (VAPIHCS) through the Health Care for Homeless Veterans (HCHV) Emergency Contract Housing program provides care, treatment and rehabilitative services to homeless veterans in the Pacific Region. The services provided to eligible homeless veterans include outreach, case management and housing services. It is the purpose of this program to provide these veterans a safe residential setting for a temporary period while addressing their immediate needs by accessing appropriate resources and supports with the goal to obtain permanent housing and end their homelessness.
