Questions and Answers 36C26123Q0535 Questions: RFI 1. Page 8 of 74, 9.1, states that, Immediately after contract award and no later than 30-days thereafter, the Contractor and the Government shall conduct a thorough inspection of the inventory (as detailed in Attachment A) and develop a list of existing deficiencies and required corrective actions . This contract encompasses three separate VA locations and a total of 39 separate chillers. Please clarify if the VA means inspection and development of a list of existing deficiencies must begin within 30-days or that it must be completed within 30-days. RFI 2. If the VA means inspection and development of a list of existing deficiencies shall be completed within 30-days, could the VA extend this period to 90 days after award? RFI 3. If the VA did means inspection and development of a list of existing deficiencies shall begin within 30-days of award, how long will contractor have to complete this process? RFI 4. Page 10 of 74, states, The Contractor shall price labor hours within the price quoted in CLIN 1 in Section B, SUPPLIES OR SERVICES AND PRICES . We do not see where contractor is to price labor hours, could the VA clarify where contractor is to provide this pricing? RFI 5. Is this a new requirement? RFI 6. If this is not a new requirement, please provide current contract number/information. RFI 7. When were annuals last performed on all equipment? Answers: RFI 1: 30 days to submit a deficiency report within the 1st 30 days and corrective schedule following acceptance of proposed repairs. RFI 2: 90 days for survey and repairs proposal submission is acceptable. RFI 3: Repairs scope timeline is not defined, scope and length is dependent on findings and subject to acceptance of proposal. The VA wishes to correct issues in a timely fashion but with reasonable amounts per industry standards. RFI 4: Labor pricing for additional services shall be the same as those quoted for the other services within this contract. RFI 5: Yes, this is a new procurement to obtain HVAC Chiller Maintenance RFI 6: no other contract for reference. RFI 7: in excess of 12 months.
