The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21, has a requirement for histopathology services in accordance with the performance work statement. Contractor shall provide laboratory services to include pickup and transport of specimens to its laboratory; preanalytic processing as defined in its laboratory user s manual; analysis, reporting of analytic results, and consultation regarding selection, collection, transportation, and result interpretation as requested by the Anatomic Pathology Service, San Francisco VA Medical Center, hereinafter referred to as the SFVAMC. The services shall include tissue procession and sectioning, hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) staining, histochemical stains and immunohistochemistry, a statement of total number of cassettes received, blocks made, and total number of slides sent, check the daily sheet for accuracy in case of discrepancy, specimen carriers, notify the SFVAMC Pathology Service of any missing or mislabeled cassettes, and all supplies for special tests (e.g., but not limited to, viral studies). The solicitation does not have a set aside. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 621511, $36.5 Million. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at sam.gov to be eligible for award. Failure to do so may eliminate your response from being considered for award. IAW FAR 16.504, the Government indents to award a Single Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract as a result of this solicitation.
