This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), NCO 21- is conducting a market research survey to identify potential qualified sources capable of providing wireless headsets with radio transmitting base station. The item shall be the brand name, Clear-Com DX410 Wireless Intercom System, or Equal at a fixed price for VA Palo Alto Health Care System at 3801 Miranda Ave., Palo Alto, CA 94304. Salient Characteristics: 1. Must be a standalone system with wireless headset and 2-channel radio technology base station. 2. Audio Headset Requirements Channels -2 audio channel Battery: - 3.6V Lithium-ion -replaceable batteries with charging station Battery Life: - Up to 12Hrs on single battery charge Weight: - 3.5oz or less Design: - single ear design / light weight -wireless -handsfree - long range (must work outside lab and control room environment) -volume up/down control -replaceable mouth and ear covers -adjustable mouthpiece - adjustable Earpiece 3. Base Station Requirements Channels: -2 audio Capacity: - Shall have 15 headsets per base station Power Requirements: -100-240V AC and 12 14V DC Signal: - long range must be capable of maintaining signal out of procedure and control room environment RESPONSES MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: Company Name, Address, Size Standard, UEI#, Cage Code Point of Contact name, phone number, and email address NAICS Code 334220 and Small Business Size Standard 1,250 employees Place of Manufacture Contract Number for any existing contracts that order can be made from Authorized Distributor letter, if applicable Estimated lead time for delivery Responses are due to Moneque Rodriguez at moneque.rodriguez@va.gov by 12:00PM Hawaii Time on Friday, February 17, 2023.
