Do the locations require all doors closed and equipment inside during the cleaning? Truck mounts we use have the pumps and other equipment built into trucks that will have hoses from the truck to areas we are cleaning. If I remember correctly, the equipment requirement is for portable units and no hoses for vacuums and pumps running all over the hospital buildings. Some doors may require them to be closed. Will our hoses be able to reach all the areas and floors from the parking area (van) and from the water bibs on buildings? Not from the parking lot or anywhere else. We do have alternate equipment (encapsulated that doesn t require hoses and can be done with all building doors closed and secured depending on the answers to the above and requirements for each building). For the Fresno location do you want the cleaning completed in one day or due to the size of the building can it be split into sections over multiple days? No, work can be done within the year, it must be cleaned twice with 6 months in between cleanings. Is there a limit to the number of technicians on site cleaning? States I supervisor + technician - is that a minimum requirement or can minimum be one - our supervisor is also a tech and the smaller buildings typically do not require more than one tech. No. We will let the contracted vendor decide how many technicians/staff are necessary. The Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and vendor will discuss options. The carpets would be cleaned in the semi annual cleaning, but do you know roughly how many calls we might get for the spot cleaning in between? We are in an old building, some of the pipes tend to leak. Within a 12 month span, we may need several rooms cleaned after such an event. This happens a couple times a year. For the Fresno location, depending on the extent and duration of the cleaning time required to complete the job, will there be designated place for cleaning crew to take mandated breaks/lunch and available bathroom on site? Yes, restroom facilities will be available, along with some break rooms. The COR will discuss those locations to the vendor once a contract is in place.
