The intent of this notice is to provide the pre-solicitation notice required by FAR 5.2- Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions in preparation for release of the solicitation at a later date. The solicitation is planned to be issued by February 8, 2023. The RFQ due date is tentatively planned for February 21, 2023. The North American Industry Code Standard (NAICS) is 561790, Swimming pool cleaning and maintenance services and annual size standard is $8 million. The classification code is Z1DZ. The solicitation will be issued as a small business set-aside. All responsible sources may submit quotations to be considered by the Agency. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) and in VetBiz database if applicable (VetBiz registration is required for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses or Veteran Owned Small Businesses) under the applicable NAICS. Contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov and VetCert information at https://veterans.certify.sba.gov/#home. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management database. Registration is free and potential offerors are encouraged to visit the SAM website as no contracts can be awarded to any offeror not registered in SAM.
