The chiller on Bldg 203 lower rooftop (Arctic Chill M# PACV..) is disconnected and looks to have various components removed. Staff says they can t run it and are planning to replace it. We won t be able to service this chiller. Can we remove this from the scope? 2. Will we be issued keys/card keys for access to the buildings for the days we do the service? Answers from VA: 1. No, it will not be removed from the scope. That chiller is being replaced as are some others on that list. When it is replaced, it will need to be maintained. This was already stated. This is an evolving contract. Old equipment gets replaced with new (and much easier to maintain) equipment. The list of equipment in the SOW favors the contractor. Bid accordingly. In the future, If we add more equipment than is on the current list, we will need to Mod accordingly. 2. Keys may be checked out from Engineering when needed.

This firm-fixed price solicitation is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and the corresponding NAICS Code is 811310 Commercial and Industry Machinery and equipment (except automotive and electronic repair & maintenance), Size Standard: $11.0M. Please see RFQ document 36C26123Q0155 for requirements. Quoters are to follow the instructions in RFQ document 36C26123Q0155. An itemized quote as well as sufficient technical, past performance, and supporting documentation is mandatory. This supporting documentation will be used to determine whether the quoted items meet the requirements of the solicitation. Quotes are due no later than 10 AM Pacific Time, December 15, 2022.
