Solicitation documents will be available on or about October 3, 2022. The solicitation will contain all necessary proposal instruction. Proposals will only be requested and accepted from contractors who were awarded a Veterans Integrated Service Network 21 (VISN 21) Multiple-Award Construction Contract (MACC) from Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO 21). The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, and the small business size standard is $39.5M. IAW FAR 36.204(c), the magnitude of the project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Questions regarding this pre-solicitation must be sent in writing to christopher.whipple@va.gov Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 21 will be issuing a request for proposal for a general construction contractor to install automated door openers, sensors, access card readers, integrate existing card readers, construct walls and doors in Building 1 and 6 at the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System, VA Medical Center North Las Vegas, 89086. Work must include, but not limited to the following: The Contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, administrative support, and any necessary professional engineering services required for the construction to upgrade Access Doors and Construct Walls IAW SOW.
