Department of Veterans Affairs Network 21 Contracting Office will be issuing a request for proposal (RFP) for the requirement to upgrade the HVAC and replace the flooring for the Sterile Processing Service (SPS) at the VA Sierra Nevada Healthcare System, Reno, Nevada. The project will consist of the following: The general scope of work is to include all material, supplies, equipment, labor, oversight, and administration to install a functioning complete system. SPS Suite: To bring the SPS space into compliance, it may be required to adjust existing equipment or may require complete replacement of some HVAC equipment. Work includes rebalancing systems, removing and installing new equipment, adding new equipment, or adjusting control set points. Removal and replacement of ACT ceilings and hard gypsum board ceilings as necessary to conduct repairs on existing HVAC equipment or to replace equipment entirely if required. Replace Flooring Satellite Sterile Storage areas: Work includes the enclosure of some cased openings, separation of spaces, and the addition of doors to enhance HVAC efficiency. Space to receive new ACT ceiling and VCT flooring to match existing spaces. Provide Temporary Mobile SPS Facility to act as swing space during construction.
