Construct Utility Loop North Side of Campus Construction Services for Project 593-19-301 Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 21 will be issuing a Request for Proposal for the project Construct Utility Loop North Side of Campus . The project will be located at VA Southern Nevada Health Care System, Las Vegas campus. This project is construction of the first phase of the utilities infrastructure system that will support future construction expansions throughout the campus. The scope will include providing all materials, labor and supervision needed to perform demolition, installation and commissioning as required by the scope, construction drawings, and technical specifications. The utility systems include, but are not limited to, power, communication, chilled water, steam, and sanitary sewer. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, and the small business size standard is $39.5M. This Request for Proposal (RFP) will be a total Small Business set-aside. This is a Pre-Solicitation announcement only. Solicitation documents will be available on or about January 27, 2022. Description of Services Project 593-19-301, CONSTRUCT UTILITY LOOP NORTH SIDE OF CAMPUS. The project will be located at VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System (VASNHS) in Las Vegas, NV. Work shall include, but is not limited to, the following: The VASNHS requires the construction of a utility infrastructure loop which includes electrical, communications, chilled water piping, steam lines, sanitary sewer lines, and domestic water piping. The new loop will provide the utility requirements of the planned future development of the VA Las Vegas campus. The awarded contractor shall provide all materials, labor, tools, equipment, transportation, contractor quality control (CQC), supervision, project management, administrative support, and construction services and expertise to construct the utility infrastructure loop. Period of Performance (POP) Total POP: Three Hundred sixty-five (365) calendar days from issuance of the notice to proceed (NTP).
