Synopsis: The purpose of this notice is to announce that the Government intends to procure a one-time battery replacement and installation, testing and disposal services for seven (7) batteries for seven (7) Uninterrupted Power Supplies (UPS) under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures for the VA Southern Nevada Health Care System, 6900 North Pecos Road, North Las Vegas, NV 89086. The solicitation will be advertised as 100% Small Business Set Aside. Contractor shall provide and install seven (7) brand name APC Model Symmetra PX batteries for seven (7) UPS. Upon completion of installation, the contractor will test new batteries. Contractor shall provide all equipment, tools, labor, travel, removal, installation, delivery and disposal. The applicable NAICS code is 33599, All Other Miscellaneous Electrical Equipment and Component Manufacturing. The size standard is 1500 employees. The FSC is 6150, Miscellaneous Electric Power and Distribution Equipment. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which will be considered by Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21. The solicitation documents will be issued on or about September 21, 2022 and will be posted on beta.SAM.gov. This date is subject to change. Hard copy documents will not be available all documents for quoting purposes will be posted at this website for download. Quotes will be due 5 days after issuance of solicitation unless extended by amendment. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of quotes. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this announcement.
