PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT VA Central California Health Care System One Time Annual PM Service and repair of Medical Air and Medical Vacuum Systems Purpose: To have services described herein, performed by a contractor licensed by the State of California to perform the Manufactures recommended Preventative Maintenance Service and repair of the Medical Air and Medical Vacuum Systems at the VACCHCS Medical Center. Background: The Medical Air and Vacuum system are critical to the operation of a hospital. NFPA 99 requires maintenance be performed on these critical support systems in accordance with the manufactures guidelines. VACCHCS equipment is due for serving and replacement of parts identified through system evaluation. Performance of Work: The contractor is required to comply with all VA all VA Facility Safety, Security and Infection Control policies. The awarded contractor shall provide all materials, labor, tools, equipment, transportation, contractor quality control (CQC), supervision, project management, administrative support, and specialized expertise to perform the work. All work shall be in accordance with the most recent edition of the NFPA 99 HealthCare Code and associated NFPA codes. Contractor shall follow OSHA compliant Lock Out Tag Out procedures. Contractor must be an authorized service provided of the equipment Manufacture, PowerEx and shall provide documentation demonstrating authorization. The project site is at Fresno VA Medical Center campus located at 2615 E. Clinton Ave, Fresno, CA 93703.
