The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is performing market research to identify companies capable of providing Beckman LS6500 Liquid Scintillation Counter. This requirement is for the following health care system location: VA San Francisco Health Care System. There is no solicitation document at this time. Capability statement Salient Characteristics INFORMATION: The VA San Francisco Health Care System has a requirement Beckman LS6500 Liquid Scintillation Counter; Quantity 1 EA Includes Beckman LS6500 with patented 32,768 channel MCA Sealed Cs source Wyse Winterm Monitor Upgrade for Beckman LS6500 with LED with monitor. LS counter dot matrix printer 10 mini racks, (7ml vial size) and 10 Maxi racks, (20ml vial size) available Installation including 2 hours of basic familiarization. Standard laboratory equipment used to measure radiation particles of experimental samples and to monitor lab areas for radioactive contamination. It is required for compliance with radiation safety requirements and federal regulations, making it a necessary instrument for safety purposes and an indispensable unit in a radioactive material laboratory in the VA. Any laboratory working without such a machine constitute a safety hazard. LS WinConnection Software Kit. Consists of programs to simplify and automate the collection, storage, and communication of scintillation counter data via an existing computer.
