The procurement is for Bertec Balance Advantage CDP(Computerized Dynamic Posturography/IVR (Immersive virtual reality) including freight and installation at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System: 3801 Miranda Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304. This action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 13.106-1 (b)(1)(i). Only one source is capable of responding due to the unique or specialized nature of the supplies and/or services. It is the Government s belief that the proposed candidate is the only provider of Bertec Balance Advantage CDP(Computerized Dynamic Posturography/IVR (Immersive virtual reality) including freight and installation that can meet the agency s needs for VA Palo Alto Health Care System. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339112 (Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing) and the Product Service Code (PSC) is 6515 (Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment, and Supplies). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any business that believes it can for Bertec Balance Advantage CDP/IVR may give written notice to Kimberly.McKinney1@va.gov by 3:00PM Pacific Standard Time on September 09,2022. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Responses will be considered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
