The contract will be for a one (1) year period. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 511210, Other Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Rental and Leasing, with a small busines size standard of $41.5M. The FSC/PSC is 7A21, IT and Telecom Business Application Software. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit and award a sole source contract for proprietary image sharing via ImageX to Medicom Technologies, Inc., 434 Fayetteville St, Ste 1650, Raleigh, NC 27601. There are no other source of supply/service that will satisfy agency requirements. The ImageX technology is currently in use across the following VA Health Care Systems and locations: San Francisco VA Health Care System (San Francisco VA Medical Center, Clearlake VA Clinic, Eureka VA Clinic, San Bruno VA Clinic, San Francisco VA Clinic, Santa Rosa VA Clinic, Ukiah VA Clinic) Central California VA Health Care System (Fresno VA Medical Center, Merced VA Clinic, Oakhurst VA Clinic, Tulare VA Clinic) VA Northern California Health Care System (Sacramento VA Medical Center, Martinez VA Medical Center, Chico VA Clinic, Fairfield VA Clinic, Mare Island VA Clinic, McClellan VA Clinic, McClellan VA Dental Clinic, Oakland VA Clinic, Redding VA Clinic, Sierra Foothills VA Clinic, Twenty First Street VA Clinic, Yreka VA Clinic, Yuba City VA Clinic) VA Pacific Islands Health Care System (Spark M. In addition, Medicom is the only source that can perform repairs/maintenance to the scopes due to the proprietary nature of this equipment, no other company was found that has authorized third-party service providers. VISN 21 is looking to establish a full service contract to include Imagex with Assistant Edition including support, services, maintenance and training agreement. Any responsible source that feels it is capable in performing this requirement may submit a quote for the above listed items and describe and/or submit documentation to support your capabilities. The response will be considered by the agency. If you are not the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), you must submit an authorized distributor letter signed by the OEM. If you are not the OEM and a small business, you must indicate in your response how you will comply with limitations on subcontracting and/or the non-manufacturer rule. Responses should be submitted to Leah Smith at leah.smith@va.gov no later than Friday, June 17th at 12:00 PM PT to be considered. If no responses are received, the Government will continue with its sole source procurement, and a sole source Request for Quote will be published to contract opportunities in accordance with FAR 5.102.
