PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21 intends to award a sole source, Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity with an Economic Price Adjustment contract to Roseville Care Center (UEI RNHAWJMZ1L29). The Contractor is currently providing community nursing home (CNH) services to 7 Veterans at the facility and a replacement contract is being established to provided continued care for the Veterans at the CNH. The solicitation for this action will be posted to Contract Opportunities and all responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency on or before June 17, 2022 at 11:59pm Pacific Time. After consideration, the Government will determine whether to proceed with the sole source acquisition. Please keep in mind that patient care and choice in the decision is the highest priority to the VA. As prescribed in VHA Notice 2020-32 and VHA Handbook 1143.2, for more than 35 years the CNH Program has maintained two cornerstones: some level of patient choice in choosing a nursing home close to the Veteran s home and family, and a unique approach to local oversight of CNHs. A Justification and Approval (J&A) will be executed by the Head of the Contracting Activity (HCA) for the contract and will be posted to sam.gov required by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.01(a)(1)(iii).
