NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Page 2 of 2 The Department of Veteran Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO21), Fresno, CA, 93721, intends to negotiate a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract for maintenance of central and portable reverse osmosis systems at VA Pacific Islands Healthcare System (VAPIHCS) Dialysis Clinic in accordance with 41 U.S.C. §3304(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source. Applicable NAICS: 811219, Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. This is not a request for competitive offers and no solicitation is available. Due to the continuation of need it has been determined that these services are only available from a single source without an unacceptable delay or duplication of cost and no other type of services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government intends to award the contract on or around June 30th, 2022 to MEDTRONIC USA, INC., 710 MEDTRONIC PKWY, MINNEAPOLIS, MN, 55432; DUNS: 170015171, Cage Code: 77HM9. Period of performance: July 1st, 2022 to June 31st, 2027. This synopsis announcement is being issued for information purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or request for competitive proposals.
