THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. No Solicitation is currently available. All information contained in this Sources Sought Announcement is preliminary, as well as subject to modification, and is in no way binding on the Government. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this request. The information requested will be used solely within the Department of Veterans Affairs to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside of the Government. The determination of a procurement strategy, based upon the comments submitted in response to this Sources Sought Announcement, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561720, Janitorial Services, and the small business size standard is $19.5 Million. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (NCO 21) is soliciting information contractors that can provide Janitorial Services for VA Yuba City Outpatient Clinic (CBOC). A draft of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached to this notice. Brief Description of Services The Contractor shall furnish all necessary and appropriate labor and supervision to successfully perform complete janitorial service for approximately 10,295 square feet at Janitorial Services for VA Yuba City Outpatient Clinic (CBOC), located at 425 Plumas Street Yuba City, CA 95991. The Department of Veteran Affairs Northern California Health Care System (VANCHCS) seeks a contractor to provide aseptic and custodial janitorial services for its out-patient care facility located in Yuba City, California. The Contractor shall furnish all necessary and appropriate labor, supervision, materials, supplies and transportation to successfully perform complete janitorial service and supplies necessary to provide janitorial services for the VA Yuba City Outpatient Clinic. Work shall be performed by bonded, experienced staff with experience in working with, and around occupied office spaces. Period of Performance (POP): 10/1/2022 9/30/2023 plus four option years. All interested contractors must respond by email to Angela.Gerlitzki@va.gov no later than 9:00 A.M. CST on June 1, 2022. Capabilities Statement List of Projects (Government and Commercial) that are similar in scope and size. Anticipated Teaming Arrangements (if any). If plan on subcontracting, demonstrate that you will meet the limitations on subcontracting per FAR 52.219-14 for Small Businesses; VAAR 852.219-74 for SDVOSB/VOSB. GSA Contract Number, if applicable. Fill out the unit price on the attached price estimate speadsheet (base year plus 4 option years). Please provide a separate breakdown of the price (example how many janitors/supervisor/supplies). Solicitation number 36C26122Q0574 has been assigned and should be referenced on all correspondence regarding this announcement. The Government will use this information when determining its business type decision.
