The procurement is for NCare license and VaultStream content management and Interfacing licensing at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System: 3801 Miranda Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304. This action is for licenses for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one will meet the Government s needs. Only one source is capable of responding due to the unique or specialized nature of the supplies and/or services. It is the Government s belief that the proposed candidate is the only provider of Olympus NCare licensing and VaultStream content management and Interfacing licensing that can meet the agency s needs. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334111 (Electronic Computer Manufacturing) and the Product Service Code (PSC) is 6515 (Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment, and Supplies). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any business that believes it can provide Olympus NCare licensing and VaultStream content management and Interfacing licenses may give written notice to moneque.rodriguez@va.gov by 3:00PM Hawaii Time on May 12,2022. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Responses will be considered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. THIS SYNOPSIS DOES NOT COMMIT THE GOVERNMENT TO CONTRACT FOR ANY SUPPLY OR SERVICE. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT PAY FOR ANY INFORMATION OR ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS INCURRED IN RESPONSE TO THIS SYNOPSIS.
