This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans A airs (VA), NCO 21- is conducting a market research survey to identify potential qualified sources capable of providing a dosimetry planning software at a firm fixed price for VA Palo Alto Health Care System. Boston Scientific Simplicit90Y Personalized Dosimetry Software (Brand Name or Equal) This software package will be used to help monitor radiation dose that patients receive and will alert the user when doses are higher than the norm so that corrective action can be taken. Salient Characteristics: Software used to improve and accelerate treatment planning for all patients Must be able to incorporate multimodal images and optimizes high performance registration tools on one interface while assisting with dose monitoring and regulation System must be compatible with existing VA network and operating systems Must allow for receiving, storing, display and processing of digital medical images from CT, MRI, PET, and SPECT. Cone-beam CT (CBCT) image receiving is preferred, but not required Must allow for multiplanar reconstruction of axial images Must allow for lung shunt fraction determination Must provide capability for segmentation of organs and tumors in both automated and manual fashion Must allow for pre-treatment and post-treatment dosimetry for radioisotope treatments RESPONSES MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: - Company Name, Address, Size Standard, DUNS #, Cage Code - Descriptive Literature of software - Contract number (If applicable) - Place of Manufacturing - Point of Contact name, phone number, and email address - Authorized distributorship letter from the manufacturer (If applicable) - Informal estimate *NOTE Acquisitions will only be set aside for SDVOSBs/VOSBs if two or more responses that meet the Non-manufacturer Rule are received with the required information listed above, by the due date specified below.
