THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. The Department of Veterans Affairs is in the process of determining the acquisition strategy for monthly clean room surface viable sampling of pharmacy sterile compounding suites for the VA Central California Healthcare System located at 2615 E. Clinton Ave, Fresno, CA 93703. The testing is to detect any microbial contamination and provide information on the environmental quality of the sterile compounding areas. The testing will help with the certification to ensure compliance with USP <797>, USP <800>, and TJC standards for sterile compounding clean rooms. The testing must be performed by a CETA certified technician. Please note that this Sources Sought Notice is for information only and does not constitute a solicitation for competitive bids/proposals. It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government; however, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirement are invited to submit information describing their capability to provide the required services. A determination by the VA not to open the requirement to open competition, based on responses to this Sources Sought Notice is solely within the discretion of the VA. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this Sources Sought Notice.
