No funds have been authorized, appropriated, or received for this effort. Responses to this sources sought announcement are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation announcement in addition to responding to this sources sought announcement. Purpose and Objectives: The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential offerors capable of providing the following items to the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System, Police Department, 6900 North Pecos Road, Las Vegas, NV 89086. Items will be FOB Destination. The VA wants to set up an order with a base 12-month period and two 12-month option periods. Vendor must be able to provide documentation showing they are an authorized distributor of the items and is asked to provide a realistic lead time for the items. Items must be the specific ammo brands shown as they are approved by the VA for use by its law enforcement units. For each 12-month period: Item 1 - 54 cases (1000 rounds per case) of the following any one of these 9mm items is acceptable: Remington Arms Golden Saber, 124 gr Brass Jacketed Hollow Point; Speer LE Gold Dot 124 gr, (Product #53618) or Federal Premium HST 124 gr (Product # P9HST1). Item 2 - 32 cases (500 rounds per case) of Speer Gold Dot Duty Rifle .223 62 Grain GDSP (24445SP). Response: Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should be able to demonstrate the firm's ability, capability, and responsibility to deliver the items listed above. Responses should include the following information: Business name, address, DUNS number, business size and Socioeconomic Category (HUBZone, 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business, Small Business, Large Business, etc.), and point of contact to include e-mail address and telephone number with the subject line VA Southern NV Ammo . All offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (www.sam.gov), and Representations and Certifications must be completed prior to any future award. Any offeror capable of providing this service shall notify the Contracting Officer by e-mail by September 11, 2021 at 5PM PST. The NAICS Code is 332992, Small Arms Ammunition Manufacturing, with a size standard of 1250 employees. The Product Service Code is 1305. If your firm is an SDVOSB, it must be registered with VETBIZ.
