Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (NCO 21) intends to solicit for Brand Name or Equal Inpro Palladium 3D Wall Protection and Handrails to support a Building 28 West Wing renovation at the VACCHCS. The procurement is on behalf of the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Regional Procurement Office West (RPOW), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21, on behalf of VA Central California Health Care System. The specific items required are as follows: All products and components will be new, refurbished products will not be accepted for this acquisition. All wall protection, handrail systems and hardware will be from one manufacturer unless otherwise discussed post award. All products shall be commercial grade for use in a healthcare facility. Wall Protection, Handrail Systems, Colors and Finishes are provided in the procurement package materials listing and are to be used as a style reference for the design intent purposes and does imply a preferred manufacturer. VACCHCS Fresno has the right to reject any component that does not satisfy the construction documents. Sources Sought Notice The VHA s Network Contracting Office 21, on behalf VA Central California Health Care System is conducting this Sources Sought to identify small business contractors who possess the capabilities to provide Brand Name or equal Inpro Palladium 3D wall coverings and handrails to determine their availability, capability and adequacy. If your firm may be interested in this requirement, is a qualified small business for the NAICS code 326113 (750 employees according to https://www.sba.gov/sites/default/files/files/Size_Standards_Table.pdf), we request the information shown below. An organization that is not considered a small business under the applicable NAICS code should not submit a response to this notice. As permitted by FAR Part 10, this is a market research tool being utilized for informational and planning purposes. Your responses will assist the Government in the development of its acquisition strategy for a possible Request for Quote (RFQ), to be issued at a later date, and in determining whether any type of small business set-aside is possible for this procurement or whether full and open competitive procedures should be utilized.
