Presolicitation Notice Presolicitation Notice Page 3 of 3 Presolicitation Notice *=Required Field Presolicitation Notice Page 1 of 3 This is a notice of intent to sole source a contract under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(2), only one source being available to meet the Government s need. The contract will be for a one-year base period plus a one-year option. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 221310 Water Supply and Irrigation Systems, with a small busines size standard of $27.5 Million. The FSC/PSC is W072 Lease or Rental of Equipment Household and Commercial Furnishings and Appliances. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit and award a sole source purchase order to Pure Water Solutions ice machine, drinking station and filtration system lease for VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System. The requirement is for an industrial ice machine, drinking station and filter system on a monthly lease program. All equipment will be installed and service, twice a year, to provide safe and quality water to the medical center. All lease equipment is located in the Hospital Building/Emergency Department building #1, Energy Plant building #2, Building #5, Admin building #6 & #7 and Fisher House building #8 at the Veteran s Medical Center on 6900 North Pecos, North Las Vegas, Nevada 89086. Any responsible source that feels it is capable in performing this requirement may submit a quote for the above listed items and describe and/or submit documentation to support your capabilities. The response will be considered by the agency. If you are not the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), you must submit an authorized distributor letter signed by the OEM. If you are not the OEM and a small business, you must indicate in your response how you will comply with limitations on subcontracting and/or the non-manufacturer rule. Responses should be submitted to Amanda Hildreth at Amanda.Hildreth@va.gov no later than September 2, 2021 at 12:00 PM PDT to be considered. If no responses are received, the Government will continue with its sole source procurement, and a sole source Request for Quote will be published to contract opportunities in accordance with FAR 5.102.
