The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit and award a sole source contract for the purchase of 1 EA LightForce Xpi 25 Watt Deep Tissue Laser Therapy System to woman-owned small business (WOSB) Best Priced Products, Inc, 250 Clearbrook Rd, STE 240, Elmsford, NY 10523. There are no other source of supply/service that will satisfy agency requirements. LightForce Therapy Lasers are a non-drug, non-surgical solution used to treat chronic and acute musculoskeletal conditions as well as post-activity recover for Veterans. Based on the market research conducted and the sources sought responses, only one vendor has the ability to provide a Deep Tissue Laser Therapy System that will meet the needs of the Department of Veteran Affairs. A sole source purchase order will be awarded to a WOSB, Best Priced Products, IAW FAR 6.302-5(b)(7) Authorized By Statue 15 U.S.C. 637(m) Sole source awards under the WOSB Program. Any responsible source that feels it is capable in performing this requirement may submit a quote (monthly per scope) for the above listed items and describe and/or submit documentation to support your capabilities. The response will be considered by the agency. If you are not the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), you must submit an authorized distributor letter signed by the OEM. If you are not the OEM and a small business, you must indicate in your response how you will comply with limitations on subcontracting and/or the non-manufacturer rule. Responses should be submitted to Amanda Hildreth at Amanda.Hildreth@va.gov no later than August 11, 2021 at 12:00 PM PT to be considered. If no responses are received, the Government will continue with its sole source procurement, and a sole source Request for Quote will be published to contract opportunities in accordance with FAR 5.102.
