Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO 21) hereby gives notice of the Government s intent to establish a purchase order with Alere Informatic Inc. to acquire Alere Remote Automated Laboratory System (RALS) Interface for a period of performance of a base plus four option years. This requirement is for the San Francisco VA Medical Center: 4150 Clement St. San Francisco, CA 94121. Determination of this single source procurement is in accordance with Only One Responsible Source reasonably available per FAR 13.106-1 (b)(1)(i). It is the Government s belief that the proposed candidate is the only provider of Alere Remote Automated Laboratory System (RALS) Interface that can meet the agency s needs. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541512 (Computer Systems Design Services) and the Product Supply Code (PSC) is 7E20 [IT and Telcom End User: Conferencing, AV, Helpdesk, Deskside Support, Workspace, Printers, Collaboration and Productivity Tools (Hardware and Perpetual License Software)]. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any business that believes it can provide Alere Remote Automated Laboratory System (RALS) Interface may give written notice to moneque.rodriguez@va.gov by 3:00PM Hawaii Time on August 19, 2021. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Responses will be considered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. THIS SYNOPSIS DOES NOT COMMIT THE GOVERNMENT TO CONTRACT FOR ANY SUPPLY OR SERVICE. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT PAY FOR ANY INFORMATION OR ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS INCURRED IN RESPONSE TO THIS SYNOPSIS.
