This is a notice of intent to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to Document Storage Systems Inc. under Statutory Authority U.S.C. 253(c)(1), the Government anticipates entering into a sole source procurement negotiation with Document Storage Systems Inc. that seeks a solution to consult tracking and acquisition of a clinical decision support tool (DST) to be used for real-time surveillance, alerting, documentation and reporting that is already approved for use within the VA Network. The total estimated value of this contract is not to exceed $2,374,144.05 for a one-year base and four option years. The above authority is cited, and justification is made based on the determination that the Government's minimum needs can best be satisfied by services available from one source. This announcement is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1. Other persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to this requirement by August 23, 2021, 1:00 PM Pacific Standard Time. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interest received on or before August 23, 2021, 1:00 PM Pacific Standard Time will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this Notice of Intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document is available. Vendors must show they are an authorized representative for Document Storage Systems Inc. and can provide DSS Consult Tracking Manager Plus supplies and services in accordance with the original equipment manufacturer s specification. Failure to provide this information will be considered non-responsive and will not be considered a viable source.
