This Notice of Intent is provided to advise that the Government intends to solicit and negotiate a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed-Priced Purchase Order with TRYCO INCORPORATED, a Small Business (SB). The procurement is for L300 Go System that is manufactured by BIONESS INC. This contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate and is authorized under statute 38 U.S.C. 8127(b), Use of Noncompetitive Procedures for Certain Small Contracts. - For purposes of meeting the goals under subsection (a), and in accordance with this section, in entering into a contract with a small business concern owned and controlled by veterans for an amount less than the simplified acquisition threshold (as defined in section 4 of the Office of Federal Procurement Policy Act (41 U.S.C. 403)), a contracting officer of the Department may use procedures other than competitive procedures. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be made available. Any responses received will only be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in lieu of sole source contract described in this notice, and such determination shall be made at the sole discretion of the Government. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. If no responses are received, the government will proceed with the Sole Source acquisition.
