This is a Sources Sought notice for informational and planning purposes and shall not be construed as an obligation on the part of the VA. The purpose of this sources sought is to identify qualified businesses, including Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Small Business, 8a Small Business and Small Business concerns that are interested in and are capable of performing the work described herein. Your responses to the sources sought will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible. Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 21 will be possibly issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) in the future to award a contract for Inspektor CT Channel and Lumen Inspection system (Boroscopes and Monitors) or an equal product. The system consists of the following components: Inspektor Qty 2 CT Monitor NS7004 Inspektor Qty 2 CT Scope, 2.1mm dia., 1.8meter length INS8007 Inspektor Qty 4 Wall Mount Articulating Arm Monitor Bracket INS6005 Inspektor Qty 2 CT Mini Scope, 1.2mm dia., 1.8meter length INS8008 To be considered or equal, product must have the following salient characteristics: CT Borescope must be 2.1mm in diameter for regular instrumentation with lumens or cannulas Mini CT Borescope must be least 1.8 mm in diameter, that can pass thru a lumen of flexible scopes. Both borescopes, at least 1.8 meters in length Must be a stand-alone system with built in monitor. Waterproof; can be used at the sink while technicians are cleaning the devices and inspect lumens. May be cleaned by high level or thermally disinfected. Cleaning and Disinfecting requirements The Borescope must be able to be wiped with the current hospital approved cleaning/disinfecting agent such as those used to disinfect sinks and equipment after cleaning surgical instruments or endoscopes. Sani Cloth Is the current hospital approved agent. Must be able to Rinse the Borescope with tap water after cleaning. High Level Disinfection The Borescope must be able to be High level disinfected when needed. Disinfecting should not be required after each use. The cleaning agent must be a current hospital approved disinfection. Cidex OPA is our current hospital approved solution. High level disinfection should be required to be performed no more than weekly basis. Sterilization - The Borescope must be able to be sterilized but not required. Sterilization should not be required after each use. Sterilization must be achieved by using the current sterilizers owned by VHAPAL. Current Sterilizers include STERIS V-PRO low temperature sterilization systems (VPROMAX, VPROMAX2) STERRAD NX, and 100NX low temperature Sterilization systems . The government intends to award one firm fixed price contract. The NAICS code is 339112 and the corresponding size standard is 1000 employees.
