All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation announcement in addition to responding to this sources sought announcement. Purpose and Objectives: The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential offerors capable of providing an aerial lift system (JLG Industries 1200SJP or equivalent) to the VA San Francisco Healthcare System, 4150 Clement Street, San Francisco, CA 94121. Items will be FOB Destination and should be delivered by September 30, 2021. Vendor must be able to provide documentation showing they are an authorized distributor of the items. Salient Characteristics of Item: Essential/significant physical, functional, or performance characteristics. Must reach up to 120 ft high and 75 ft horizontal outreach. Must swing 360 degrees continuously. Must hold cargo up to 1000 lb. Must have a self-contained generator (7500W or higher) available on the platform to operate other power tools and accessories without repositioning a ground-based system. Must have at least two safety harnesses. Must be Tier 4 Final compliant engines for fuel efficiency. Must be environmentally friendly non-marking tires. Maneuverability move over uneven surfaces, operate in most any terrain and in most environments. Must have factory-trained technicians and/or authorized service centers available within 50 miles from San Francisco. Response: Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should be able to demonstrate the firm's ability, capability, and responsibility to deliver the items listed above. Responses should include the following information: Business name, address, DUNS number, business size and Socioeconomic Category (HUBZone, 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business, Small Business, Large Business, etc.), and point of contact to include e-mail address and telephone number with the subject line VA San Francisco Aerial Lift System . All offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (www.sam.gov), and Representations and Certifications must be completed prior to any future award.
