The contractor shall also provide monthly maintenance to these systems from the system delivery date for one base year and four one-year options. The applicable NAICS code is 339112, Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing. The size standard is 1,000 employees. The FSC is 6515, Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment, and Supplies. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which will be considered by Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21. The solicitation documents will be issued on or about July 28, 2021 and will be posted on beta.SAM.gov. This date is subject to change. Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 21 will be issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) to award a contract for eighteen (18) Medication Labeling Systems for the VA San Francisco Health Care System, 4150 Clement St., San Francisco, CA 94121. The intent is for this procurement to be a brand name or equal requirement. The brand name would be Codonics Safe Labeling System (SLS). The salient characteristics are: ability to fit on top of the current anesthesia medication cart (the measurement of the area is 27 ½ Width by 18 ¼ Depth), must print syringe labels, labels shall meet international color standards as well as national standards for labeling (JC, USP), point-of-care, site license, wifi kit, systems management software, power outlet, data cable input, ink, label paper, the ability to connect via smartphone is not supported. The contract will also include in the base contract installation, training and monthly support with four one-year options for monthly support. The government intends to award a base plus four one-year options firm fixed price contract. The NAICS code is 339112 and the corresponding size standard is 1,000 employees.
