All information contained in this Sources Sought Announcement is preliminary, as well as subject to modification, and is in no way binding on the Government. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this request. The information requested will be used solely within the Department of Veterans Affairs to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside of the Government. The determination of a procurement strategy, based upon the comments submitted in response to this Sources Sought Announcement, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561720, Janitorial Services, and the small business size standard is $19.5 Million. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (NCO 21) is soliciting information contractors that can provide Janitorial Services for Eureka Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC). A draft of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached to this notice. Brief Description of Services The Contractor shall furnish all necessary and appropriate labor and supervision to successfully perform complete janitorial service for approximately 21,209 square feet at Eureka Community Based Outpatient Clinic located at 930 W Harris Street Eureka California 95503. Work shall be performed by experienced staff with experience in working with, and around fully occupied office, clinic and hospital spaces. Services shall be performed in a manner that shall maintain a satisfactory facility condition and present a clean, neat, and professional appearance. The Contractor shall furnish all equipment necessary to perform the tasks specified in the contract. Period of Performance (POP): 8/1/2021 7/31/2022 (1 year) All interested contractors must respond by email to Angela.Gerlitzki@va.gov no later than 9:00 A.M. HST on May 17, 2021.
