The VA San Francisco Health Care System intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Propria LLC. The proposed contract action is to create 16 engineered heart tissues that will be cultured and tested. Propria LLC will preform all work and the contractor s location. This sole source action is in accordance with FAR 13.106-1. Only One Responsible Source and No Other Support or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and no competitive solicitation will be issued; however, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements or provide an equal product may give written notification to the contract specialist for consideration. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed above for the requested support/services. Responses are due by May 21st, 2021 at 11:59 PM Pacific. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
