Under Statutory Authority U.S.C. 253(c)(1) the Government anticipates entering into a sole source procurement negotiation with Getinge USA Sales, LLC. to maintain Getinge Cardiohelp Heart-Lung Bypass Machines in accordance with the original equipment manufacturer s specification for the Department of Veterans Affairs San Francisco Medical Center. The above authority is cited and justification made based on the determination that the Government's minimum needs can best be satisfied by services available from one source. This announcement is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1. Other persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to this requirement by April 2, 2021, 3:00 PM Pacific Standard Time. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interest received on or before April 2, 2021, 3:00 PM Pacific Standard Time will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document is available. Vendors must show they are an authorized representative for Getinge USA Sales, LLC., and can maintain Getinge Cardiohelp Heart-Lung Bypass Machines in accordance with the original equipment manufacturer s specification. Failure to provide this information will be considered non-responsive and will not be considered a viable source. The attached MR questionnaire needs to be fully completed, failure to do so will be considered non-responsive.
