The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 21, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) (single source), intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with American Medical Response West, for a One (1) Year Bridge contract for a period of performance of twelve (12) month for ground ambulance services for the following counties: all Other Counties except Solano, Sacramento, Contra Costa, Alameda located within the VA Northern California Heath Care Systems. NAICS 621910 applies. This will allow the VA time to procure a long-term contract. This notice of intent is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that the responding company can provide the same ground ambulance services in the same area equal to American Medical Response West ground ambulance services. Any interested vendor needs to submit their proof of license as an ambulance provider for all counties. Responses must be received no later than 07:00am HST on March 19, 2021.
