No Solicitation is currently available. All information contained in this Sources Sought Announcement is preliminary, as well as subject to modification, and is in no way binding on the Government. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this request. The information requested will be used solely within the Department of Veterans Affairs to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside of the Government. The determination of a procurement strategy, based upon the comments submitted in response to this Sources Sought Announcement, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 812332, Industrial Launderers, and the small business size standard is $38.5 Million. We anticipate using an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with an ordering period of three years from the date of award. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (NCO 21) is soliciting information contractors that can provide Laundry Services for VA Northern California Health Care System (VANCHCS) and San Francisco VA Health Care System (SFVAHCS). A draft of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached to this notice. Brief Description of Services The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, management, supplies, and transportation to provide Contractor-Owned, Contractor-Operated Laundry Service. These services shall be provided to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) facilities within the Veterans Integrated Service Network (V ISN) 21. The weight for each facility is an estimate based on historical data and should not be considered firm, the actual weight required could vary significantly. Estimated Quantities and Pricing are for Clean Dry Weight. Capability Statement All interested contractors must respond by email to Angela.Gerlitzki@va.gov before 9:00 A.M. HST on February 24, 2021. Please answer the following questions when responding: What is your company s Socioeconomic Status? (ex: small business, large business, SDVOSB, etc.) Provide DUNS and/or CAGE Code. Ability and experience in managing similar projects. Include general information and technical background describing your firm's experience on contracts requiring similar efforts to meet the program objectives. Provide a CPM ALM certificate or resume demonstrating at least 3 years of specialized experience processing hospital linen. Please list the 3 largest laundry contracts or schedules your company has with the federal government or another hospital. Include the name of the facility receiving the service and the dollar value of the contract. Anticipated Teaming Arrangements (if any). If plan on subcontracting, demonstrate that you will meet the limitations on subcontracting per FAR 52.219-14 for Small Businesses; VAAR 852.219-74 for SDVOSB/VOSB. GSA Contract Number, if applicable. Fill out the estimated pricing document. RFI number 36C26121Q0345 has been assigned and should be referenced on all correspondence regarding this announcement.
