S Janitorial Services at the Hilo Vet Center The Hilo Vet Center has a requirement for janitorial services. Intend to award a base plus four option year contract. This is a total small business set-aside. (See Draft Statement of Work). B.3 STATEMENT OF WORK Janitorial Services U. S. Department of Veteran Affairs Hilo, Hawaii Veterans Center 2.1 Contractor shall supply all labor, travel, equipment, supplies and materials to accomplish the housekeeping services described herein at the VA Hilo Veterans Center. All areas will be serviced based on the Performance Requirements Table/Frequency chart at Attachment 1 excluding all Federal holidays. 2.1 Location and Hours of Operation: These technical provisions require work to be accomplished at the Hilo Veterans Center at 70 Lanihuli Street, Suite #102, Hilo, HI 96720. The square footage is approximately 3,024 square feet. 2.2 Cleaning of this facility shall take place two times a week: Monday and Thursday during normal business hours of 7:00AM 4:00PM. The COR must approve any changes to the contractor s schedule in advance. NOTE: If a federal holiday falls on the above work day, then the next day following the Federal holiday will be the work day. If the next work day falls on a weekend, then the day before the Federal holiday shall be the work day. 2.2.1 Contractor s Work Schedule: Prior to commencing performance under this contract, the Contractor shall provide a proposed work schedule to the COR describing how and when services will be accomplished. 2.4 The Performance Requirements Table (PRT) at Attachment 1 indicates the minimum acceptable cleaning frequencies; however, it is the responsibility of the Contractor to re-clean in such a manner as to correct deficiencies which have been identified, recorded, and reported to the Contractor by the Contracting Officer s Representative (COR) or his/her designee.
