Synopsis: The purpose of this notice is to announce that the Government intends to procure a Mobile CT Scanner Rental under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures for VA Northern California Health Care System, Martinez Community Based Outpatient Clinic (OPC). The solicitation will be advertised as a Total Set Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. Contractor shall provide a mobile actively shielded 64 slice CT Scanner for the Martinez OPC. The date of rental will be for four months after contract award. The scanner will include supporting equipment to provide the doctors and radiologists a like system which will provide the same level of care our patients are presently receiving. The applicable NAICS code is 532490, Other Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Rental and Leasing. The size standard is $35 Million. The FSC is W065, Lease or Rental of Medical, Dental and Veterinary. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which will be considered by Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21. The solicitation documents will be issued on or about January 14, 2021 and will be posted on beta.SAM.gov. This date is subject to change. Hard copy documents will not be available all documents for quoting purposes will be posted at this website for download. Quotes will be due 21 days after issuance of solicitation unless extended by amendment. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of quotes.
