The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 20, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) (single source), intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Getinge USA Sales Inc., for the preventative maintenance of VA-owned Getinge sterilizers, washers, cart washer, loaders and unloaders located at various locations within the VA San Francisco Heath Care Systems. NAICS 339112 applies. This notice of intent is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that the responding company can provide the critical software updates, authorized equipment components and repair services equal to Getinge USA Sales, Inc. critical software updates, authorized equipment components and/or repair services.
