The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 21, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) (single source), intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with U.S Commercial Operations, Med Management Systems, for the preventative maintenance for Siemens CT Scanner SOMATOM Definition AS64 & syngo.via Workstation at the VA Pacific Islands Heath Care System. NAICS 811219 applies. This notice of intent is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that the responding company can provide the critical software updates, authorized equipment components and repair services equal to U.S Commercial Operations, Med Management Systems critical software updates, authorized equipment components and/or repair services.
