This request does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. No funds have been authorized, appropriated, or received for this effort. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation announcement in addition to responding to this sources sought announcement. Purpose and Objectives: The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential offerors (preferably SDVOSB SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES) and preferably with a GSA/FSS contract capable of providing two (2) radar message trailers to the VA Las Vegas Medical Center, 6900 N. Pecos Road, North Las Vegas, NV 89086. Items will be FOB Destination and should be delivered within 60 days ARO. Requirements for the trailers are as follows: Message Trailer: The trailer must meet the following characteristics: Must be able to detect and display vehicle speed of approaching vehicles Must be movable from one location to another via trailer tow with jack Must have a minimum 3 lines capable of displaying electronic (LED Characters) messaging that are legible at least 750 feet away from unit. Ability to level on solid surfaces via jacks. Message lines must be able to be programable at unit. Must be able to recharge Must have the ability to trickle charge batteries in order to be operational out in the field. Must have a charging port capability in order to be supplied electricity via generator or 110v outlet Includes 2-year warranty Dimensions: (minimum requirements): Display Height: 44 Display Width: 77 Display Depth: 4.25 Character Height: 8 (20 cm) / 37 (94 cm) up to four lines Response: Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should be able to demonstrate the firm's ability, capability, and responsibility to deliver the items listed above. All offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (www.sam.gov), and Representations and Certifications must be completed prior to any future award. Any offeror capable of providing this service shall notify the Contracting Officer by e-mail by May 8, 2020 at 5PM PST.
