The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 20, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) (single source), intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Hologic Inc., for the preventative maintenance and service of components and/or software of VA-owned Hologic Selenia Dimensions Mammography 2D & 3D machines located at the VA Northern California Heath Care Systems. NAICS 811219 applies. This notice of intent is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that the responding company can provide the critical software updates, authorized equipment components and repair services equal to Hologic Inc. critical software updates, authorized equipment components and/or repair services.
