Any acquisition that follows this pre-solicitation notice will be conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 14 Sealed Bidding and Part 36 - Construction and A-E Contracting, and other applicable regulations. The solicitation will be advertised as a Total Set Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, supplies, travel, etc. to repair the exterior of 6 buildings. Location will be at VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System, 975 Kirman Avenue, Reno, NV 89502. The period of performance should be 180 days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. Magnitude of construction is expected to between $500,000 and $1,000,000. NAICS code for this acquisition is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with size standard of $39.5 Million. The solicitation documents including specifications and drawings will be issued on or about November 11, 2019 and will be posted on Federal Business Opportunities. This date is subject to change.
