This is not a solicitation, nor request for quotes or proposals. The sources sought effort is intended to assess industry capabilities and develop/support the intended direction of acquisition planning. Description of requirement and submittal requirements are as follows: Description: Government seeks contractor to provide a complete IP based networked sound masking system for the Monterey Outpatient Clinic, 201 9th Street Marina, CA 93933, in conformance with plans and specifications. Reference schematic plans Sound Masking Drawings to design 100% coverage per required zones. The contract scope of work includes the following proposal items: Sound Masking Speaker, Qty: 240 Sound Masking Processor, Qty: 33 Sound Masking Panel and Controller, Qty:1 Sound Masking Generators/Matrix, Qty: 2 Network Switch, Qty: 6 Patch Panel, Qty: 6 Misc. Hardware (CAT 6, conduit, fittings, hangers, caulk), Qty: 1 On-site Installation, Implementation, Testing and Labor (After hours Mon-Fri 6pm-6am and Sat/Sun 8am-4pm, 5 Week timeline) Sound Masking Tuning (Documentation/QA Test) The Government requests capability statements and comments from interested businesses regarding the requirements described above. Responsible sources are encouraged to submit a response to this notice with a statement of interest on company letterhead. At a minimum, the following information shall be provided: 1. Company Name; 2. Company Mailing Address; 3. Point(s) of Contact including telephone number(s) & email address(es); 4. Socio-Economic (i.e. Small/Large Business, HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, 8(a), etc.) as it relates to NAICS Code 512290 ($11.0 Million). 5. NOTES: Issuance of this notice does not constitute any obligation whatsoever on the part of the Government to procure these services, or to issue a solicitation, nor to notify respondents of the results of this notice. No solicitation documents exists at this time; however, in the event the acquisition strategy demonstrates that GSA is a viable option for procuring a solution, the RFQ shall be posted to GSA eBuy where only those firms who currently hold a GSA Schedule with the applicable SIN will be able to respond. The Department of Veterans Affairs is neither seeking quotes nor accepting unsolicited quotes, and responses to this notice cannot be accepted as offers. Any information the vendor considers proprietary should be clearly marked as such. The U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI.
