The VA Network Contracting Office 20, supporting VISN 20 and VA Puget Sound Health Care System, is conducting a sources-sought market research notice—not a request for proposals—to identify vendors capable of providing as-needed mobile surgical laser rentals with certified/credentialed technicians at VA Puget Sound Health Care System, 1660 South Columbian Way, Seattle, WA 98108. The anticipated period of performance is one 12-month base period plus four 12-month option periods, with monthly and/or bimonthly as-needed rentals. Services would support Urology and Otolaryngology/ENT procedures, including laser systems such as Cyber TM or Revolix thulium, standard/high-power holmium, KTP, OmniGuide CO2 or equal, other CO2, and continuous-flow cystoscope, plus all required fibers, handpieces, accessories, and disposables. The contractor’s technician would deliver, set up, operate/support, troubleshoot, remain available during, and remove equipment, with equipment maintained and passing VA Biomedical Engineering inspection. The contractor must support approximately 24 hours’ notice and deliver at least 30 minutes before the first scheduled procedure; responses will help define the requirement and acquisition strategy, including any socioeconomic set-aside.
