This is a non-personal services contract for fire life safety inspection and testing of dampers and detectors at the VA Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics, located at 8495 Crater Lake Highway, White City, OR 97503. The contractor must perform inspections and testing per applicable NFPA codes and manufacturer specifications, including fire alarm systems, duct detector AHU shutdown verification, and audio/visual devices. Work is to be completed within a 300-calendar-day performance period upon notice to proceed, and a detailed inspection, testing, and maintenance program must be provided within 30 days after award. Services are to be performed during normal hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.) excluding federal holidays, with coordination through VA Police and Facility Management Services. The contractor must meet VHA Infection Control Risk Assessment requirements, use qualified personnel, and obtain approval before performing any repair work.
