The Walla Walla VA has three patient care buildings that require entrances that provide ease of access to the interior of the building and other interior spaces within the building. One of the buildings, Building 143, needs to have pushbutton door operators at one staff entrance and in first and second floor public restrooms to comply with ADA access requirements. In total there are four single wooden restroom doors that will need hardware and sets of double doors with metal frames for the staff entrance. See photo attachments in section four for the doors that will be worked on. Additionally, there will need to be a single fixed bollard provided to mount a pushbutton operator. This scope of work aims to address the requirements and deliverables needed to add operator functionality to these doors.

DESCRIPTION: The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, and materials to replace the door operators to be ADA compliant in accordance with the statement of work. There must be a journeyman licensed electrician to perform all the electrical work. ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 15, 19, and 36 and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Proposals received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable NAICS Code is 238290 with a size standard of $22 Million. The solicitation is expected to be issued in FY 2025.
