This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The intended contract is a firm-fixed price. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following in support of the Veterans Health Administration, Boise VA Medical Center, Radiology Department, 500 Fort Street, Boise, ID 83702. The radiology department at the Boise VA Medical Center has a need for a base plus four year contract for a maintenance and repair service contract for their Siemens Artis Zee system and workstation (see requirement information). This unit is currently under warranty therefore vendors must either be the OEM or an authorized dealer who is authorized by the OEM to perform services for the existing equipment/system. Vendors will be required to provide an authorization letter or other documents from the OEM. Potential candidates having the capabilities necessary to provide the stated services at a fair and reasonable price are invited to respond to this Sources Sought Notice via e-mail to Jennifer Robles at jennifer.robles1@va.gov no later than July 21, 2025, 3PM, Mountain Time. RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: Company name, address, SAM UEI, and business size; point of contact name, phone number, and e-mail address; whether services are presently offered on a current GSA Federal Supply Schedule contract, NASA SEWP, or any other Federal contract. REQUIREMENT INFORMATION: Scope: Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, travel, equipment, parts, and supplies to furnish preventative maintenance services, and repair services for the Siemens Artis Zee system with functional location 400-572434 and workplace/workstation with functional location 400-611870. All equipment is located at the BVAMC Radiology Service Department, Building 85. Emergency Repair service will be provided from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM Monday through Friday. Work will be observed by the POC, or designee, during performance of scheduled maintenance service and inspections and/or during repair service. Equipment operators will be contacted to report on contractor performance when POC, or designee, is not available. Other Pertinent Information or Special Considerations: Only Manufacturer Trained Service Engineers/Technicians or Manufacturer Authorized Service Engineers/Technicians will perform services and repairs. Vendors will be required to provide an authorization letter or other documents from the OEM. Identification of Non-Disclosure Requirements: Vendor will not have access to Sensitive or Proprietary Information. Any Patient Information that may have been observed during the course of the work must not be discussed, or shared, with anyone beyond the Hepatology Service Staff or any person who does not have the need to know such information. Risk Control: The Contractor shall obtain all necessary licenses and/or permits required to perform this work. Contractor shall take all precautions necessary to protect persons and property from injury or damage during the performance of this contract. Contractor shall be responsible for any injury to any contractor representative, or others, as well as for any damage to personal or public property that occurs during the performance of this contract that is caused by the contractors fault or negligence. In the event that Patient Information may have been observed during the performance of work, the Contractor will not discuss any patient issues that may have been observed during the course of the work. Place of Performance: All services will be performed at the Boise VA Medical Center Radiology Service. Period of Performance: Base: 12/11/2025 - 12/10/2026 Option Year 1: 12/11/2026 - 12/10/2027 Option Year 2: 12/11/2027 - 12/10/2028 Option Year 3: 12/11/2028 - 12/10/2029 Option Year 4: 12/11/2029 - 12/10/2030 Delivery Schedule: Service Reports will be emailed or faxed to POC by the 5th workday after completion of the work. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted.
